A strange mummified skeleton that was discovered in the Atacama desert of Chile has now been confirmed as human, after five long years of genetic research. That supposedly squashes theories about it being of extraterrestrial origin.
A complete genome sequencing of this being is what happened, and mainstream science websites are readily going along with the narrative that this mummy may have simply had deformities.
DNA was extracted from the mummified remains, and a study about the results was published in Genome Research. It was nicknamed Ata, containing what scientists describe as mutations in 7 specific genes associated with facial and bone malformation, dwarfism, and the premature fusion of joints.
This is a 6 inch tall human being, a human being the size of a small fetus, and these scientists allege it is a human girl who lived to be 6 years old or older.
The novel, intense sequences occurred supposedly in genes that were not known before this to control physical development. Could that mean that this narrative actually isn’t true?
In 2003, a person who hunts for artifacts reportedly dug up Ata. The mummy was wrapped up in a bundle of white cloth, from an abandoned church’s ground in La Noria, a mining ghost town.
Local media outlets didn’t say much about it, but eventually people became interested in Ata. Well said by one article, “Who wouldn’t be shocked by a 15-centimeter (6-inch) tall, cone-headed humanoid skeleton with sinisterly slanted eye sockets and the wrong number of ribs?”
Stanford University senior author Garry Lonal, PhD said “I had heard about this specimen through a friend of mine, and I managed to get a picture of it,” in a statement. “You can’t look at this specimen and not think it’s interesting; it’s quite dramatic. So I told my friend, ‘Look, whatever it is, if it’s got DNA, I can do the analysis.’”
To really definitively determine what species this skeleton is, the help of UC San Francisco pediatric genomics expert Atul Butte, MD was enlisted. Keep in mind, if some conspiracy were being covered up about it being alien, these people are all working in very establishment institutions.
They compared the sequences of Ata’s DNA to those from both diseased and healthy references, and they claim to have proven that Ata is a female of South American descent. It strongly implies that the girl was a pre-term birth, and she suffered from a severe form of skeletal dysplasia, as well as a bone-aging disorder that caused plate fusion in early growth.
The shocking truth they found was: this is not an ancient fetus, but it is only about 40 years old. That places the time of birth of this “mummy” at somewhere around 1977. Even crazier, the state of this specimen’s bones apparently suggests it died at six to eight years old.
“While the extraordinary phenotype of the specimen drove broad discussion as to its origin, and no hypothesis was left off the table during analysis, the specimen is shown here to have a purely earthly origin with mutations that reflect the visual determinations,” the paper states.
“While we can only speculate as to the cause for multiple mutations in Ata’s genome, the specimen was found in La Noria, one of the Atacama Desert’s many abandoned nitrate mining towns, which suggests a possible role for prenatal nitrate exposure leading to DNA damage.”
This is a girl born around 1977 who had a 6 inch body, and lived for 6 to 8 years old being 6 inches tall.
Does that sound likely to you? That is one explanation, and an alternative explanation is that this is some kind of alien. Which one sounds more probable to you honestly?
